The Garden Room Restaurant has retained two rosettes from the AA Restaurant Guide for the second year running and is also very proud to have retained four gold awards from Visit Britain/Guernsey for great food and service. Sebastian Orzechowski our Head Chef has spent most of his life in London working along side Michelin Star Chef Gary Hollihead at the famous Inn On The Green. Sebastian was also involved with the opening of the Northall and the Massimo Restaurant at the Five Star Deluxe Corinthia Hotel in London. He is very passionate about local produce and has regular meetings with the local fisherman ,the local scallops are from Frank Hallam, the local Seabass from Andy Loader with the Crab and Lobster fished from the St Peter Port boat “ Fleur De Bray “. The style of his cooking is Modern European where he celebrates the best provenance ingredients between local, France and England. He also uses small artisanal food makers for cheese and dairy. There is a herb garden on site with a greenhouse only several yards from the back door of the kitchen.
