During these uncertain times caused by the rapid spread of the coronavirus, and on behalf of The Bella Team, I want to reassure guests and customers of our firm commitment to you.
We know that all companies and markets have been affected by the current situation. Travel and supplies to and from the Islands are now also being effected.
The health and safety of all guest and staff is most paramount.
The hotel has been closed for the winter season, and we have liaised with all our staff both overseas and locally, and for their safety and that of our customers we have decided to review our re-opening for the summer season:
We will now re-open May the 1st 2020 and not April 1st as previously planned. We will continue to review and post updates on our website and social media accounts as they arise.
All existing reservations and bookings for April will be contacted ASAP to make alternative arrangements.
All future hotel and restaurant bookings, and general queries should be directed through: [email protected] / 01481 238764

If gin's your thing, then join us in the Bella's garden, marquee and poolside patio on the afternoon of Saturday July 21st, for the second annual outing of Guernsey's Gin Garden Party! Presented in partnership with our own Wheadon's Gin and featuring the finest Guernsey gins alongside some exciting craft producers from further afield, we can't wait for an afternoon of trying new gins, enjoying old favourites, and relaxing with some great food and live music.
This year we'll have the Bella's BBQ fired up, and hopefully this spell of stunning weather will continue and we'll all be able to dangle our feet in the pool to keep cool like last year. We'll be pouring all three expressions of Wheadon's Gin, we'll be welcoming some special guests from Edinburgh Gin who will be travelling from Scotland to join us for the afternoon and Matt from Bluebottle will also be joining us for the afternoon. From further afield, we'll have Caspyn Gin from Cornwall (which proved very popular at last year's garden party), London's Portobello Road Gin, Whitley Neill and Brockmans from the UK, as well as Blind Tiger gin from Belgium and KI NO BI gin from the Kyoto Distillery in Japan.
Guernsey’s Gin Garden Party will get started at 1pm and finish at 7pm. Tickets cost £20 plus booking fee and include entry to the Gin Garden Party, two complimentary gin and tonics (one Wheadon’s and tonic, and a second from one of the featured brands), tastings, a festival glass and a tasting notes booklet.
If you'd like to book a table for the Distiller's Dinner with Edinburgh Gin, please call us on 01481 238764.
