Tennerfest 2017 at the Bella Luce


Every year Guernsey’s resident and visiting foodies are treated to a fantastic autumn, as the Guernsey Food Festival segues into Tennerfest.  Tennerfest, now in its twentieth year, is a six-week celebration of food across the Channel Islands that sees a huge variety of participating venues offering a set menu at discounted price points between £10 (originally, as the name suggests) and £20.   It’s a great time of year to visit Guernsey as the island’s establishments showcase their menus and local produce, and because dining out is such a popular option during October and the start of November we definitely advise booking in advance to ensure that you get a table.

This year, Head Chef Simon McKenzie has devised a menu that celebrates the best local and seasonal produce, featuring autumnal dishes such as braised pork with celeriac, apples and capers and the latest creative dessert developed by our pastry chef: the Bella Luce Viennetta.
