During these uncertain times caused by the rapid spread of the coronavirus, and on behalf of The Bella Team, I want to reassure guests and customers of our firm commitment to you.

We know that all companies and markets have been affected by the current situation. Travel and supplies to and from the Islands are now also being effected.

The health and safety of all guest and staff is most paramount.

The hotel has been closed for the winter season, and we have liaised with all our staff both overseas and locally, and for their safety and that of our customers we have decided to review our re-opening for the summer season:

We will now re-open May the 1st 2020 and not April 1st as previously planned.  We will continue to review and post updates on our website and social media accounts as they arise.

All existing reservations and bookings for April will be contacted ASAP to make alternative arrangements.

Tennerfest 2018 at the Bella Luce

Autumn is a great time to be a food-lover on Guernsey; for six weeks from October 1st until mid-November, restaurants across the island offer special set-price menus as part of the annual Tennerfest. 

What began over twenty years ago as a number of restaurants offering set menus for £10 has developed into over 120 establishments offering menus at set price points between £10 and £20, broadening the festival’s offering considerably and allowing islanders and visitors to enjoy the finest food that Guernsey has to offer.

The Bella’s Head Chef Patricio Filipe and his team have this year developed a wonderful autumnal menu that celebrates the season with dishes such as roast wood pigeon with Yorkshire toast and elderberry dressing, Coq au Vin and Granny Smith apples three ways.

As part of Tennerfest we are also offering locals a special overnight stay rate of £89 (based on two people sharing a Classic room) so you can enjoy dinner, and then enjoy a few Wheadon’s and Tonics in the bar and the comfort of a hotel bed for the night.

The Bella Luce’s Tennerfest menu is available for both lunch and dinner.
